The Sherpa 120 Explorer Kit Is Helpful For Camping Trips

For starters, try a 27 Watt Nomad solar array, made from the latest lightweight mono-crystalline solar technology that is weather resistant. It comes with a built in pocket for the connection cord, is folding, and comes with it’s own carrying case. It has an LED indicator light, so you can see when it is creating power, grommets so you can hang it from different surfaces, and three aluminum support poles for added rigidity when in use.

There is much more to this unit, like the Sherpa 120 Battery Pack that holds 120 watts of power. Additionally, this pack come be chained up to 3 more power pack for more power combined into one. There are adapters for USB, AC, and DC and there is a Universal Inverter which is very useful. The battery cycle rating for the GOAL0 LiFe batteries is 3,000 cycles and has equivalent output to over 70,000 AA batteries. It is weather protected and ready for about every kind of situation. And with a charge controller which protects the fuses, plugs and the power pack themselves, it really brings the ability to rely on it much higher. And there is also a LED indicator which allows you to see the storage of the power on the pack.

There is a Sherpa Inverter and a Estrella Light 3 watt included as well. The Estrella light is 3watts of a powerful LED and it’s lumens is 140 which is the same as a 45 watt regular bulb. It is tested for up to 20,000 hours of continuous usage. It comes with a 9′ cord, and it can be angled at 140 degrees with the 15′” bendable cord. And with the carabiner, you can place it anywhere. You have to the option to link up to 12 other lights and of course connect with the Sherpa power pack or any 12 volt power source.

Then there is the Sherpa 100 watt universal inverter, with a multi plug that can accommodate standard 2 and 3 prong plugs, as well as international plugs, and can be switched from 110 to 220 volts quickly. This can not only be used with the Sherpa power supply but it too can be plugged into any 12 cigarette port.

The explorer kit also comes with 12 volt male and female adapters, all the accessories, and a AC wall adapter for charging as well. The entire kit sells for under $900 and that is considerable low for everything that is included. Some solar panel systems cost $800 just for the panel. You could possibly pay over thousands dollars for the light, inverter, solar panels, and battery pack.
